Born from firsthand experience, Friday built in the trenches of high-growth, high-demand IT.
In 2015, TJ Karwal and Gary Wright—veterans of Cisco and Dimension Data—launched Cluster Networks, a managed services providers specializing in network and information security. Within two years, they were managing IT across thousands of client locations. But scale brought complexity. Supporting that many sites with traditional tools and growing headcount simply wasn’t sustainable.
Operating out of San Francisco—where engineering talent is scarce and expensive—they made a bold decision: Don’t just hire more people. Build a smarter way.
